This is simply a fantastic place. I was looking for a location with guaranteed, quiet study space to prepare for a board exam I will take in a few months. This really allowed me to focus and build a schedule and not need to worry about various things one encounters while studying in coffee shops (limited/variable space, questioning how many lattes I need to buy to justify me sitting there all day, etc) or other public spaces. It also allowed me to stay sane and get out of the house. There is printing, many supplies, whiteboards, monitors. There is coffee, sparkling water and snacks as well. Everyone at Epicentral is also trying to get work done, so for the most part, they are very focused and not loud or excessively chatty. There are separate rooms you can reserve if you know you’re going to be a little loud, need a meeting space or white board, or jump on a call. The community is awesome and everyone I have met so far has been cordial and respectful. Frank holds such fun community events (pancake day, lunch outings, bbq, etc) as well and it is a nice place to make a few friends with interesting and varied individuals. The business model for this is that you can try it for one day, then purchase a 2 week intro rate, then various monthly rate packages. These are good people who are not trying to nickel and dime you and won’t try to “trap” you in a subscription model with auto renewal. Super great vibes overall. While this often acts as a space for remote work, I highly encourage any professionals preparing for major licensing exams consider this space!

My employer has rented office space in Epicentral's Carlton location (5th floor of the Carlton Building) for about eight-nine months now. Love the early-20th-century building aesthetic overall (cool tile work and woodwork throughout)! And I particularly love the big windows/natural daylight of my office space! (Two large windows in my space, with a view of Pikes Peak.) I have worked in two other popular 20th-century office buildings downtown (large high-rises), and the windows of both of those buildings were so overly tinted/darkened that natural light was not truly present. Overall, the tenants here at Carlton are hard-working, professional, and respectful of each other - I have found it to be a safe, peaceful, cooperative environment for co-working. This 5th-floor Carlton space contains a conference room for tenants to utilize for free of charge (other co-working spaces in town that I/my employer called to possibly rent quoted that they charged tenants hourly fees to use conference spaces and/or limited the weekly hours of use per tenant). Our 5th floor space also contains a kitchen that Frank keeps well-stocked with coffee, drinks, and snacks. Frank is SUPER-responsive to tenants' needs, btw - always available for questions or to assist. The Carlton building is only 1.5 blocks from a city covered parking lot that is reasonable for monthly parking (

My boyfriend and I needed a place to work remotely for the day, and we are so grateful that we found Epicentral! The space is comfortable and quiet with ample outlets and seating; there is also plenty of parking available on the street directly outside the building. The owner, Frank, is so welcoming and kind—we were lucky to stop by on a Thursday where they have a weekly networking happy hour. On top of being such a friendly and gracious host, Frank is also an incredible bartender. We can’t recommend Epicentral enough and will definitely be back next time we are in Colorado Springs!

I did the 2-week free trial and was blown away by this place. I needed a workspace close to where my kids were doing a 2-week camp nearby. From the moment I met Frank, I felt super welcomed and valued. Yes, the space is very nice, but I think more importantly, the vibe of everyone is so positive and calming. The main work area is conducive to working. There are phone booths to duck into for a quick call. There are conference rooms to reserve if you need to be in meetings for a longer period of time. There is coffee and office snacks. ... And so much more I could go on and on, but all that to say EpicCentral is an amazing place with amazing people. I work from home, and sometimes it is good to work in a different environment and see other people. I think I will be back in the future with some day passes.
