Spaces in Broomfield is awesome. I'm not sure why there are so many negative comments, but compared to other co-working spaces in the area, this place is elite. Really nice facilities. Nice people, quiet, internet works great, a few restaurants that are walkable, a nice view as I drive North from Arvada. Super affordable compared to other options. Highly, highly recommended.

Can’t notify tenants that there’s a power outage and that we’re locked out? Waste of my time. That on top of WiFi outage all week!

Avoid at all costs or at minimum be prepared for 40% YOY rent increases, loss of your initial retainer, and/or surprise fees to the tune of 2x your monthly rent. While I normally do not like to leave negative reviews, as it's not my preferred method of resolving disputes in the workplace, my colleagues and I feel a moral obligation to share our experience with other Broomfield locals making decisions about where to work. DETAILS: We are a Colorado-based software company and signed a 12-month agreement with the Broomfield location on the 5th floor. Our experience has been frustration and continued shock and disappointment at Regus' business practices, which our legal counsel called "atrocious." FINANCIAL IMPACTS: - We received a 40% increase in rent upon notice of renewal for our 900 square foot space, in a floor that has super high vacancy rate. - We were charged $7,700 for a month we are not using, after completely moving out of the space at the end of our 12-month agreement. Our office manager clicked to cancel our renewal in the portal 3 months prior; but it auto-renewed anyway. When she reached out to Spaces for technical support, thinking there was a bug in the software, she was told they would fix it/submit cancellation for us. 3 months later we are being charged for the month (at the 40% price increase rate) anyway. Regus tells us we didn't click the button properly, even though they knew at the time we had attempted to cancel. - Today we were charged a $4,600 "Restoration Services" fee. This is apparently in the fine print of the "House Rules." They are very sneaky in their practices and slip in this $4.75/square foot fee to "restore" the office when you move out. We left the office clean and never put anything on the walls, so the fee is essentially a vacuuming and table wiping fee. OTHER PAIN POINTS - We were given the runaround by 4 different people at Spaces/Regus during office negotiations. It became clear they were increasingly desperate to keep us and kept handing us off to new team members. We never really understood who the decision maker was. After they gave us a firm price and said they wouldn't budge, they changed their tune 4 weeks later and tried to get us to stay. - Our floor lacked premium amenities for the rate we were paying (meeting rooms, coffee machine, printer, etc) - At least half of the time we tried to use the printer in the basement, it was broken. It was the only printer in the building, which caused a lot of chaos when holding our leadership team meetings there. We learned to print elsewhere if we had a deadline. - Moving through the building requires going down to an elevator, walking outside, and going around to the front entrance. This is a big pain point if you have regular shipments to make, as our office manager did, especially in the winter when the sidewalks are icy. - No video conferencing equipment included in our space - We had two safety incidents in the year we were there; one a bomb threat, and one a shooting incident across the street. - Although our office had access to an outdoor deck, it was unusable. It was often locked, poorly maintained, and poop droppings not cleared off for months at a time despite repeated requests. - When we raised these concerns to the local manager, he told us repeatedly he was "powerless" to change anything, admitted that he, too, feels uncomfortable at the office, and offered to give us "under the table" access to amenities to make up for the poor services at this location. Fortunately, there are many other wonderful co-working spaces in the area that we explored and were able to choose from when we moved; ones with more competitive rates, more premium amenities, more fee transparency, and better customer service. Our new location even offered to start our lease at a later date when they heard about Regus/Spaces' business practices to offset the financial impact. Kudos to this competitor!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Coworking spaces typically have limited storage options, most of which are reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices. With that said, it’s best to contact the coworking operator directly via the form on the right side of the page to learn about available storage options.

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.

  • Spaces - Arista operates during regular business hours, as indicated above. For access outside of these hours, please contact the operator directly to inquire about any available options.

  • At Spaces - Arista, Private Offices and Dedicated Desks can be booked on a monthly basis.

  • Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Spaces.
