Horrible experience. If you want a peaceful and quite night’s sleep I would NOT go here. Loudest rooms imaginable, you can hear every car on the road going by it’s like the windows are open it’s so loud, I checked too. You can hear every door slam and worst of all you can hear straight through the wall and hear everything the room next door is saying/doing. Apparently there are no quiet hours either so be prepared for some loud neighbors. Other than that the place is fine, but for me a quiet night’s sleep is very important.

Amazing place to stay. Highly recommend for a romantic and relaxing get away. Great staff, dog friendly, comfortable amenities, and great coffee.

1 star. My wife and I were in the middle of moving to California and had booked a stay at Gravity Haus Truckee-Tahoe through Booking.com. Overnight, the weather conditions changed drastically and travel became unsafe. This was not us changing our minds or trying to get out of a reservation. We literally could not safely make it to the property. We did not purchase Booking.com travel insurance, and I understand that policies exist. But there is a difference between enforcing a policy and completely ignoring the reality of a dangerous situation. We were still charged for the stay, even though getting there was not reasonable or safe. I contacted the property hoping someone would show basic understanding. Instead, the manager, Grayson, told me he “had to deny it.” That response honestly stuck with me. It felt cold, dismissive, and completely lacking in compassion. In a moment where a little humanity would have gone a long way, they chose to hide behind policy. Booking.com was awful to deal with, but Gravity Haus Truckee-Tahoe had the opportunity to handle this differently. They could have offered a credit, a partial refund, a date change, or even just a more thoughtful conversation. Instead, we were charged for a stay we could not safely reach and left feeling like the property cared more about keeping the money than taking care of guests. Hospitality is supposed to matter most when things go wrong. This experience made the property feel rigid, unsympathetic, and not guest-focused at all. I would not recommend Gravity Haus Truckee-Tahoe to anyone who expects flexibility, compassion, or real customer service when circumstances are outside of your control.1

Reasonably priced and very nice. The reasonable price may have been because I was there kind of between seasons. The place was nice and clean, and everything in excellent condition. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Onsite restaurant very good. Onsite bar mixed a very nice Old Fashioned.

Gorgeous location, nice and clean hotel with amazing and kind staff! I have stayed here twice, once for my anniversary and the second time for a girls trip and I will be back again! Big fan!
