The account was originally opened by a colleague who unfortunately passed away. After his passing, I contacted the office and met with staff to update the account administrator so that I could manage the contract going forward. Despite this, renewal notices were still sent to the ex-colleague's email address, which meant there was no way for us to receive or respond. What makes this even more frustrating is that the renewal reminder mentioned 6-month or 12-month options, yet the agreement was automatically extended for two years without any confirmation from us. When we reached out for help, the response was essentially that the contract had already been renewed and nothing could be done. There was no room for discussion. The helpdesk told us to speak with the site manager, while the site manager asked us to contact the helpdesk.. We kept getting redirected without any real solution. I understand that companies have policies, but in situations like this — where notices were sent to a deceased person and there is no flexibility or willingness to discuss — I would expect more understanding. We are even open to paying a penalty and allowing a transition period so our business mail can be smoothly redirected to a new physical address. As loyal members since 2020, we hoped for a more reasonable and cooperative approach.
