I visited 9Zero SF once in June 2025 as a guest of a member and had an incredible experience. The space was thoughtfully designed, the atmosphere was engaging, and I left genuinely interested in becoming more involved. Based on that first visit, I could see the value of the community and what 9Zero is trying to build. Unfortunately, my experience afterward was disappointing. Opportunities to stop by were extremely limited, day passes felt prohibitively expensive, and an email I sent with a membership-related question went unanswered even though a colleague received a response to the same inquiry. Months later, I received an abrupt message saying I would be removed from the prospective-member list for not being “active” and because they were keen on “…accepting fewer applicants.” The contrast between my initial visit and the follow-up experience left me feeling that the community was less accessible and inclusive than I had hoped. But that’s climate in 2026 for you.

Fantastic co-working space and community. Awesome staff, lots of room and desk space, and great schedule of solid events that are always updated too. Definitely recommend this spot to climate focused startups and founders!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.

On the other hand, private offices are best suited for focused work and private interactions. They're ideal for solo workers as well as teams seeking a dedicated space, shielded from distractions.

Choosing the ideal coworking arrangement for you is about aligning your workspace with your work style, team dynamics, and project requirements.

  • Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with 9Zero, who is more than happy to help out.

  • Please reach out to 9Zero for more detailed information on membership options and pricing.
