**Decentered Arts** is an artist-led, multimedia nonprofit dedicated to building a resilient creative community in San Francisco. Each year, Decentered hosts **200+ free community events**, including open mics, writers groups, art exhibitions, fashion shows, and interdisciplinary gatherings that support artists and culture makers.
Recently, Decentered opened its own physical home in SoMa: **Decentered Studio**—a light-filled, thoughtfully designed coworking and creative space where community meets art.
The studio functions as an open-plan coworking environment with shared tables, flexible seating, floor seating options, and backjacks. While there are no private offices or enclosed meeting rooms, the space offers a calm, respectful atmosphere ideal for focused work, writing, studying, and creative projects.
