Consumer Warning — Lack of Professional Standards and Accountability This property manager handled my property for over four years, and I’m writing this review as a warning to other owners. While I was caring for my sick family member, I trusted that the property was being properly managed. Unfortunately, I later discovered a long pattern of late rent payments — often over 30 days late, and at one point, three full months were missed altogether. Each delay came with a different excuse: a “routing number mix-up,” being “on vacation,” or promising to “reverse management fees.” Whenever problems arose — which was almost monthly — she would temporarily resolve the issue by waiving her fee or covering a handyman expense. At the time, I viewed that as accountability, but now I recognize it as a way to deflect attention from deeper mismanagement. After hiring a new professional property manager, I learned she had never met the tenant in person, failed to maintain the property, and ignored safety updates like new codes. My tenant also reported weeks of unreturned calls and messages. She currently manages over 250 properties, and based on my experience, I suspect I’m not the only owner who has not received the level of professionalism expected in this industry. She will likely respond with excuses or cite her “many happy clients.” Be cautious — I once thought I was one of them, until I uncovered the neglect and lack of accountability behind the surface. If you value timely communication, financial transparency, and responsible property management, look elsewhere.
