Regus’ internal processes are completely broken. After upgrading from a virtual office to a physical office at the same location, Regus failed to process it as an upgrade and instead left two active accounts open—charging me for an extra account that should have been closed during the upgrade. I was explicitly told in writing, by Regus that my account was in good standing and to ignore an invoice, only to later be told I owed months of back charges. Now Regus is demanding written proof of a VERBAL upgrade request that they already confirmed and used to generate a signed contract. Customer support gives conflicting answers, documentation is unreliable, and accountability is nonexistent. Given that I'm still a client, wouldn't it show a level of customer service to simply cancel the extra account? Unfortunately this location is spending man power and human resources to write back and forth emails insisting on conducting internal investigations to prove or disprove that I actually requested an upgrade. Make it make sense! This experience is the opposite of the “flexible office solutions” Regus advertises. Corporate intervention is clearly needed to resolve this mess. Yesenia Martinez and Yolanda Fomoso have not been helpful despite supplying them more than sufficient information. They are working tirelessly to retrieve and investigate two month old phone call transcripts to prove that I requested two separate accounts instead of an upgrade. Make it make sense! What is their ultimate goal at Regus? Is it to stick an existing customer with two accounts for the same address and the same contract period? That is no way to treat a client. Even if I made a mistake, it can be as simple as canceling the extra account, but what do I know?

I have leased an office from Regus at their premises in Emerald Plaza in downtown San Diego, California for about six years and it has been an outstanding experience from the start. Regus was very understanding of my need for a small, efficient space and made one available that exactly suited my needs and budget. I love it, it's perfect for me and very comfortable besides. In addition to the space, itself, the full amenities and building parking are much appreciated, and the full Regus staff on site have responded promptly to any questions and issues I might have and resolved everything. I have been very fortunate to have leased from Regus, and recommend them to anyone looking for office space, whether that space be large or small. /s/ Christopher N. Kennedy

No one will tell you this but when you leave the office you need to pay X1.5 from the monthly office payment for "OFFICE RESTORING FEES" Although you leave the office exactly as you receive it. I will never rent an office again in Regus

the office space was decent, but the customer service could use some improvement. overall, it was an okay experience.

I would not recommend Regus (Emerald Plaza, San Diego) for virtual office services. Despite providing my updated address in multiple forms, staff repeatedly defaulted to outdated information, and retrieving mail was consistently delayed and disorganized. Most alarming was the mishandling of a legal subpoena—signed for, yet never passed on to me—leaving sensitive information exposed. After ending my contract, I was charged excessive mail forwarding fees. While technically disclosed, the cost feels unreasonable given the lack of professionalism. This experience did not reflect the reputation Regus claims. I advise professionals to consider alternative, more reliable services.
