I came to a Medina event about a year before a studio came available that was right for me - I had been on the fence about investing in a space for my art and looked around ALOT. I’m so glad I took the plunge at Medina - it’s been the absolute best gift to myself. I feel like my artist identity has space to breathe and that is truly priceless. Having this little speakeasy of magic in the heart of PB is everything San Diego needs. From the space to being inspired by the community every time I walk in - I 10/10 recommend!
I joined Medina Art Studios during its first month, starting with a coworking membership so I could make more time for my art and my own projects. The community inspired and supported me from the beginning. I later moved into my first shared studio space in San Diego, and now I have a private space there for BUYA. The people, events, and friendships have made Medina so much more than a place to work. I’ve brought friends in, made many new ones, and felt encouraged every step of the way. If you’re an artist looking for a welcoming, creative community, I can’t recommend Medina enough. I’m so grateful to be here and hope to stay for a long time.

It’s clean, inviting, and makes it easy to focus and get into a flow. There’s an energy here that makes you want to create and stay awhile. Obsessed with Medina Art Studios! It’s such an inspiring space for local artists to work and connect. The events are always unique and unlike anything else around, and the art classes are super cute and creative. You can tell how much passion goes into this place. It’s truly something special in the neighborhood!
