Spent a summer month working here and it was a wonderful experience. Felt like a home away from home.
I moved to The Mill before summer started this year, after almost 8 years of working from home. I live in Southwest San Clemente so I had looked at a couple other affordable office rental options in San Clemente and San Juan that were fine, but a little tired and lacked a sense of community. The Mill is San Clemente's version of a WeWork, with all the modern design and amenities of a modern co-working space, but having used WeWorks all over the country, I can tell you The Mill feels different. It's located in the center of San Clemente's famous "surf ghetto", home to dozens of the best surfboard shapers and glassers in the world, and the design and environment match the San Clemente vibe - a casual, surfy, dog-friendly environment that makes it feel like home. We have office space, conference space, open work space, outdoor space and quiet space available when we need it. Great kitchen here and lots of great food and coffee options are available within 2-3 blocks (Rider Club has the best burger in Orange County, maybe SoCal). It's been a huge boost for my productivity (and mental health) to get out of the house, but The Mill has totally exceeded my expectations of how much I would enjoy coming back to an office.
I had the privilege of working a social event for the Mill, it was so much fun! Great energy and a way to bring the community together, these office spaces are unique and tranquil ❤️ cool vibe!
