Just inappropriate behavior and charging for offices you never leased. The space itself is actually kind of nice, and some of the staff were pleasant. However, their billing system and management is beyond repair and needs an entire overhaul. Longer story below, but I rented an office, was up to date on payments and deposit, and they cut my access off mid month claiming that I owed them $4k for an office I never leased (or technically leased for a single day since they let me switch offices and ensured that I wouldn't have to pay for it - all in writing). The entire thing was confusing, because I couldn't make sense of their invoices. All I know is I paid my deposit and monthly lease amount for the office I rented. I shouldn't have a $4k bill outstanding, especially when I only had 1 more month left on my lease (with was only $1k per month). I was going to rent a bigger office, decided last minute to do a smaller one, and was told that's fine (I have written evidence). They then proceeded to charge me for both offices and told me not to worry about those invoices for now and that they would get settled. They gave me credit for some of them, but then still wanted almost $2k for a deposit (in addition to my actual deposit that was already paid) for an office that I never rented. Then they charged me a bunch of late fees for invoices I was told not to pay yet. When we tried to clear it up via email, they were rude, not helpful and non-explanatory. Then they cut my access off despite having been up-to-date on payments and deposit for the actual office I had.

It's so unfortunate my experience with this establishment. We thankfully have been out of here since the end of April. We had a bank issue where they reverse the funds back to Regus and have not successful at obtaining our deposit back over $3k and have yet to have ANYONE be able to help us. Front desk does what they can but can't help with billing, payment or issues like ours, We reached out May 27th when the initial ticket was created (at least i hope it was). I've gone to the portal and reached out to help desk with no response. WE have gotten 0 response about obtaining our deposit back which is super frustrating because it's a large amount. I don't recommend this location if you are needing office space. We were there 13 months to long and did not have the best experience as far as customer service goes. I am sure there is better out there that have better ability at communicating. We were charged $600 for a cleaning fee when the office was left spotless but it's in their contract that of course they can charge whatever they like because they have access to your account but somehow can't manage to return our funds back to the same account they have taken so much money from. Screenshots of my attempts on reaching out to front desk and funds being reversed back to Regus. Beware folks!!!!!

If i could give no stars i would have, the worst experience with this location ever. Communication after you agree to their ridiculous contract is horrible. The front desk receptionist seem to have a high turnover and not their fault. They do try to be helpful but don't think the people above them set them up for success. I have emailed them so many times with billing issues and typically NEVER get a response back. We've been here a year and can't wait to get out of this place. Internet is horrible, yes its a nice building but you are paying for it so i recommend doing your homework. There are plenty of nice places out there for less and way better customer service. I wouldn't mind all the issues with internet and facilities, it was their lack of professionalism after you agree to their terms and non helpful customer service. Nishant was readily available for the tour and getting us in was then not to available to help with getting us out. Best of luck if you do decide to move forward with this company. I wish i would have read some of the reviews before basing my decision solely on the aesthetics. I did reach out and have had a ticket created over a month now and NO RESPONSE from your team with any updates. This does not fall on the front desk people because again they are just the face of the building but they have no access to billing/payment.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Spaces, who is more than happy to help out.

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.

  • At Spaces - R Street, Private Offices and Dedicated Desks can be booked on a monthly basis.

  • Spaces - R Street operates during regular business hours, as indicated above. For access outside of these hours, please contact the operator directly to inquire about any available options.
