**Updated: To add insult to injury, Regus responded to this review with what appeared to be a sincere, personal message offering to help resolve the issue. But when I followed up by email, I received a generic, scripted reply, re-iterating the terms of their predatory contract. Rather than addressing the misleading promises I was given, they doubled down on the "fine print". Before leasing an office in this building back in March, I did my due diligence and came across several concerning reviews about Regus. I raised them directly, but the office manager, Ryan, came across as genuine, and reassured me that those issues were isolated to other properties and that he would personally ensure I wouldn’t encounter the same problems. But when push came to shove, Ryan completely disappeared and stopped responding. 1. Hidden fees — including automatic lease renewals at higher rates unless you cancel in just the right window. 2. Excessive move-out charges — they’ll bill you a sky-high “restoration fee” per square foot, even if you leave the space spotless. 3. Nickel-and-diming — expect to be upcharged for basics like using the coffee machine or upgrading your internet speed. Ryan specifically promised I wouldn’t be hit with a move-out fee, and I believed him. But when it came time to follow through, he completely disappeared and stopped responding. I’m still waiting on my security deposit after returning the key 3 months ago. I’m sharing this so others don’t get blindsided the way I did. Friendly assurances mean nothing when the business model is built on exploiting tenants.
