BLANKSPACES’ slogan is “work for yourself, not by yourself.” This coworking space is ideal for entrepreneurs and freelancers who love the creativity and flexibility of running their own businesses, but also want the community and networking potential of working in an office space. Here, members can try out options including open seating, dedicated desks, private offices, virtual offices, mailing services, and meeting rooms, as well as event spaces that are available to book by the hour, day, week or month.
For instance, if members are looking for flexibility in location, as well as access to the amenities of BLANKSPACES, the virtual office is a great option. This includes a mailing address and mail services, a dedicated phone number, one hour of meeting room time per month (with discounts on additional uses), access to the printer and copier, 15 hours per month at the WorkCafe at any location, and other perks and benefits. Another great option is the office anywhere membership, which provides all of the benefits mentioned above, as well as a private office space with a sit/stand desk, whiteboards and the option to store belongings for a fee.
Meanwhile, for those looking for a more permanent place to set up shop, members can try the workstation membership. This option provides a dedicated desk in a common area with a lockable storage cabinet. Or, for a separate workspace, try the private office membership. There are three different sizes of offices available depending on the size of the team, and they range from single-person offices to team offices that can accommodate around eight people. Plus, all memberships come with access to the WorkCafe at any of the eight BLANKSPACES locations. So, even if you don’t have a designated workspace at a certain location, you can still pop in and enjoy the other amenities.
The BLANKSPACES Hollywood office is located on Sunset Boulevard, surrounded by restaurants, shopping and green spaces that members can enjoy on their breaks. And, to make commuting easier, there are also nearby bus stations and parking lots just a short walk away from the building.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should a good coworking space in Los Angeles provide?
A good coworking space should provide all of the basic amenities needed to get work done — like fast and reliable Wi-Fi, ergonomic furniture and different types of work or relaxing areas — but also extra features, such as printing, copying and scanning services or complimentary beverages or even snacks. Aside from these, coworking spaces provide different work arrangements that suit the varying needs of workers, from open desk areas to private offices. Notably, one of the most beneficial traits of a good coworking space is its community. In most cases, coworking operators foster and nurture a sense of community by allowing different workers from various backgrounds to come together and participate in exciting and fun activities, events and gatherings outside of working hours.
How many coworking spaces are in Los Angeles?
Currently, there are 147 coworking spaces up for grabs in Los Angeles. However, you can always expand your area of search based on your location or according to convenience. In some cases, you can even find coworking spaces in the suburbs or outside of the main business district.
Can I visit or tour the coworking space before making a decision?
In many cases, coworking spaces allow you to take a tour of the location before you fully commit to any type of membership. Some even have virtual tours that you can take from the comfort of your own home. These allow you to view the space, the floorplan, the different types of working arrangements, and the overall design and vibe of the space. This way, you can see if the space matches your needs to make an informed decision.
Are there any pet-friendly coworking spaces in Los Angeles?
Some coworking spaces have a pet-friendly policy, allowing you to bring your furry friend and keep them close during your workday. To make sure that you see all of the pet-friendly spaces, filter your search by selecting the “pet-friendly” filter when browsing options in Los Angeles. Or, if you’re not completely sure, reach out to the operator to inquire about this policy.
Can I book a coworking space by the hour? How about for a day/month?
When it comes to various work arrangements, coworking spaces in Los Angeles provide incredibly flexible possibilities; however, not all operators accept hourly and daily reservations. As opposed to regular work arrangements like an open workspace or a dedicated desk, hourly bookings are typically designed for meeting rooms and event venues. However, for users who want to try things out before committing to a space, hot desks are available in some locations, and other operators provide day passes or a trial period.
