On the hunt for a co-working space for my virtual tour business—one that also welcomes my dog, Rosie 🐶 Tried out Workspace Carlsbad (near the Palomar Airport area). There are definitely some pros: it’s a spacious building with easy parking right up front, and it’s dog-friendly, which is a huge plus. Also, five stars to the two sweet girls at the front desk—they were very kind and welcoming. I worked out of there today, and honestly, I had a hard time focusing. The chairs weren’t ergonomically supportive, which aggravated my herniated disc terribly and made me realize just how important good lumbar support is. The furniture although looked nice, overall felt cheap and very uncomfortable, and the majority of areas made it tricky to find convenient electrical outlets. Ventilation was another challenge for me—it felt a bit stuffy and hot at times. There were a couple of private rooms available for phone calls, which I appreciated, along with clean bathrooms and a variety of work areas to choose from. At the end of the day, it’s tough to be productive without the right setup and comfort. I left early with my back in a lot of pain. I’m looking for a comfortable professional space I can commit to long-term—somewhere I can mentally focus, feel good physically, and be around my tribe of creative entrepreneurs. It was also pretty quiet, not many people around. I want to feel supported and inspired. In the best environment that fits me. Testing out another space on Monday… the hunt continues ✨

This office building is the best place to work and network in north county. The staff is awesome. Its like one big family. The monthly comnunity events they have is a fabulous way to meet people. I have been here a year and a half. 10 stars in my opinion.

Workspace has provided me the perfect place to focus and create. Their offices are clean and quiet. The common areas a comfortable and cute. And there are so many nooks for reading, taking calls, holding a meeting. It’s great and I love the management team!
