This coworking space in Carlsbad got it right. You drop off your kids with incredible staff who do activities with them and keep them engaged while you work next door and have access to a conference room, work stations, a kitchen, coffee and tea, and a monitor where you can watch your kids as you work next door. They also offer drop off options on Friday where you can leave to run errands. The little touches like the little library outside make it welcoming and warm. These two moms and sisters have worked so hard to create a place for parents and kids to come and use for work and play. You can also use FSA funds and Calworks funds to pay for the childcare. Highly recommend!

I've been coming here since they opened and can say, now, with several months under my belt that the Cove is exactly what I’ve been looking for - a place where I can work while my toddler plays and learns safely nearby. I love the peace of mind of being close if he needs me, though after a brief transition period, he hasn’t needed me at all. The caretakers are wonderful and have created a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment. Love that this exists in Carlsbad!

My husband took my daughter (age 2.5) because we had a gap in childcare. The place was clean and welcoming. My daughter loved it and had a fun, full day! My husband was able to work productively too. Definitely recommend.

I absolutely love The Cove! As a work-from-home parent, having a safe, nurturing, and fun place for my little one has been a game changer. The staff is warm and attentive, and the camera access gives me so much peace of mind throughout the day. I also really appreciate the cute photo updates, my baby always looks like she’s having an absolute blast. They offer great and enriching activities, including arts and craft etc. The coworking space is also a huge perk: it’s bright, quiet, filled with natural light, and has extra monitors. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a flexible childcare option paired with a comfortable workspace!

The Cove is unlike any other coworking and childcare facility in Carlsbad.
