Karl Strauss Brewing Company is a great place to enjoy craft beer and a delicious meal. The beer selection has something for every taste, the food is fresh and flavorful, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Friendly service and a fun vibe make it an easy spot to recommend in San Diego.

We come here twice a year for a family reunion for 15 years… apps came out before waters, no side plates. Ordered a wine with my entree, I’m Sitting waiting for my wine while everyone else is eating. For her to come back & tell me they’re out. It’s been 25 min for a glass of wine. Saw our server 3 times. Just very disappointed… lack of Care. Aunt went to host Stand twice. & server came Back & said “I didn’t realize you were In a hurry.” We were done eating. Fully for 15 min minimum. Very sad because we come here every single year and haven’t been this disappointed ever

Great service and food! We were nearby at the Museum of Making Music and decided to stop here for lunch. It was a Saturday afternoon and we were able to sit right away at some high tops near the bar. I ordered a burger and my husband got the wings. We loved the food! He also got a flight of 4 beers to give everything a try since we are visiting and have never been here. The burger was pretty big and very flavorful, I left feeling very full. It also came with fries that were seasoned well and weren't soggy. We came back at the end of our trip to get a case of the beer to bring home with us, that's how much my husband liked it. Everyone we interacted with on both days were very nice and helpful! This was a great place and I thought the prices were pretty good.
