This has honestly been the best apartment complex I've lived at. The staff is super friendly, the amenities are top tier, and you really can't beat the prices they're offering. Easily one of the best complexes in the Phoenix area.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an unexpected issue with the apartment we were staying in, and while it wasn’t the experience we planned for, Tyler and Britney completely turned the situation around. They were so kind, understanding, and went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. They made what could have been a very stressful situation so much easier, and we truly felt like they genuinely cared about making things right. Their level of customer service and compassion is something you don’t come across often, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything they did. This community also has amazing amenities and such a welcoming atmosphere, but the staff is what really makes it special. Tyler and Britney are absolute rockstars, and their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help made all the difference. Because of the way they handled an unfortunate situation, I would absolutely recommend this community to anyone looking for a place where the people truly care. Thank you
Put in maintenance request because ac in our apartment doesn’t work in July in Arizona. They changed the air filter. That’s obviously not the issue. Have had no ac for over a week now.
Called emergency maintenance at 9:30 pm about the blinking fire alarm light in my apartment. Mind you we are SUPPOSED TO have 24/7 maintenance. Called again at 10:30 p.m. cause the light still flashing IN my apartment. Not the hallway, the apartment. they were able to get ahold of the third backup maintenance person, who said they put the fire alarm on test mode and they were working with security(?) To get the flashing off. Wait? You mean u had this 20 floor building's fire alarm on test mode? So if an actual fire were to occur, we would all be screwed? All so ur 24/7 maintenance people can sleep? What about the person who actually pays rent. Btw, its 7:30 am, and the emergency light is still flashing. Do you know how hard it is to sleep with a blinding light strobbing throughout you entire apartment? I dont know who I need to escalate this too but this is by far unacceptable. I dont care that the building is under construction due to an apartment flooding. 24/7 maintenance means someone is here 10:30 pm. Not 8 am when they finally get into work. I can only be greatful that God didnt give me a neurological disabilty cause this is enough to cause a fatal seizure.
One of the biggest issues with X Phoenix is the unfinished second tower sitting on the property. It was under development, then construction reportedly stopped after a major financing shortfall. Public reporting has tied the stalled project to more than $30 million in mechanics liens and lawsuits, and now the partially built tower just sits there unfinished, abandoned-looking, and collecting dust. From a resident perspective, it felt like that same financial strain carried over into the occupied building too. X Phoenix marketed itself with all kinds of luxury amenities, accommodations, and resident events, but over time many of those perks seemed to be reduced, discontinued, or quietly taken away as the “luxury” experience faded. Maintenance and reliability were also major problems. It was not just the elevators, although those were one of the worst issues. For extended periods, most of the elevators were broken or out of service, which meant residents often had to wait excessively long just to get to their floor. Other things were frequently broken or unreliable too, including the mail room entry, hot tub, garage gate, and other basic building features that residents depend on. The leasing staff also gave off a very different impression before and after move-in. When you are touring or looking to rent, everyone seems very friendly and accommodating. After move-in, though, that attitude seems to change for the worse, and getting help with actual resident issues becomes much more frustrating. One male leasing staff member in particular comes across as having a condescending, self-important demeanor while still trying to appear friendly on the surface. Overall, the place sells itself as luxury living, but between the abandoned second tower, disappearing amenities, broken elevators, unreliable building features, and poor post-move-in resident support, the reality felt very different from what was advertised.
