Beautiful facility, and Louisa & Christina (owners) are very kind and attentive, genuinely looking out for their members and helping us succeed. Very responsive and supportive. I was looking for somewhere to start my practice, and I was astounded the exact thing I was looking for existed, a place where I can rent office space by the hour instead of being on the hook for a full rent payment for an office whether I could fill my schedule or not. The facility is also just beautiful. The decor is lovely, and there are live plants everywhere (including a tree in the waiting room), ample windows, an atrium... If you're just starting out, provide mental health services part-time to where a monthly rent payment isn't ideal, or just want address services and to join an amazing community of counselors, social workers, etc. with lots of free events and other perks, I cannot recommend The Common Ground enough! **I was not asked or incentivized to write this review in any manner.**

Common Ground offers so many valuable services and supports for therapists in private practice and really is unlike any other co-working space in Huntsville. You aren't just renting an office, you are getting incredible support with marketing, networking, and navigating private practice!

Common ground has been wonderful for starting a mental health practice! The co sharing space is beautiful and it is great to have a built in community of other professionals in the area! The owners are so supportive and always have networking events and trainings for members!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Common Ground.

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.

  • Common Ground - Huntsville has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.

  • Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Schedule a tour here by filling out the form along with the date and time when you would like to visit the space and we’ll see you there.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Common Ground, who is more than happy to help out.
