Not entirely soundproof but comfortable enough for studying / working. There’s a famous scissor cut curry rice nearby for meal option.

Very good working/study place. Got second monitor to use, fan is strong. Very quiet which i like, unlike public library. Only downside is the toilet, needs to go Level 1 Security to pay 20 cents & ask for key. And bring your own water. I regret not bringing my own.

Space is small and tight. Partitions do not keep sound out and a loud neighbour means you need head phones else you ate disturbed. Somehow patrons don't seem to have been given the right information. Was there for 2 hours and had so many knocks by other patrons. You cannot book 1 hour and you only find this out when you attempt to book.

I love the simplicity of this place. For the price, I'd say it's reasonable and worth it should you need a place for yourself to focus. Tips: - There's a fan in each room. You can bring a portable fan if you want more ventilation. There's not much air conditioning during the weekends. - There's a number of eateries around the mall. City Square Mall is about 6 minutes walk from Jalan Besar Plaza. - There's no key to the room, but you can lock the room from the inside. I do feel a little inconvenient that I can't leave my things in the room while I go out to get something. - Garbage cans are outside of the facility Though, I did find one small cockroach and killed it. It could've gotten in from the mall itself, seeing how retro it is and possibly difficult to get rid of the source. I did see there's an insecticide near the entrance.

The Deskimo booking page did not disclose that the air-conditioning would be turned off in the afternoon. The room became extremely hot and uncomfortable, making it impossible to work. I paid for a full-day booking, but did not receive the proper service. Very disappointing.
