If you're vegan or vegetarian this is very close to heaven. Lots of restaurants fully vegetarian or vegan, the staff all understand what vegan is. Very cheap and local food. Highly recommended if you're in the area. There's also free toilets and multiple shops, but the vegan food is the star of the show. Definitely worth checking out. They also have non-vegetarian restaurants. There's plenty of choice.

This decadeS old shopping mall (or then called, shopping centre) along Middle Road is famous or popular for its many vegetarian eateries therein. That said, it also houses quite a number of non-vegetarian eateries, as well as, in "recent" years, an increasing number of dim sum eateries, which are vegetarian or non-vegetarian in style. And on weekends, it can get very crowded therein, with many diners at its various eateries and shoppers at its retail stores selling vegetarian products. However, I was here today (4 JANUARY 2026) for a non-vegetarian dim sum lunch followed by beverages and kaya butter toast at the Hong Kong Dim Sum Shop and at the Killiney outlet, respectively, which were both good food and beverages choices. FYI in the case of the former, it's non-vegetarian, and in the case of the latter, it (uniquely) offers a Burmese menu.

Seriously, for a shopping centre with so many dining outlets, get your toilet situation sorted out.
