It’s a super nice hotel with very clean rooms, which makes it great if you’re primarily looking for a comfortable place to sleep. That said, it’s not really the place to go if you want a lot of on-site amenities or entertainment, as the hotel is a bit more minimal in that regard. However, they do have a really nice co-working space if you need to get some work done, which is a great perk. The breakfast is also quite good, though a bit on the pricey side. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place with good workspace facilities, the Social Hub is a solid choice!

I stayed in the Social Hub for three nights in December 2025. The hotel is well situated next to a tram stop and is less than 10 minutes tram from the centre of Rotterdam. The staff on the front desk were very helpful and welcoming throughout the visit. The room is a little bit basic, but it was clean and comfortable - I was fortunate to receive a complimentary upgrade to one of the larger rooms with a kitchenette. I would certainly recommend the Social Hub Rotterdam to friends, and to digital nomads looking for accommodation with co-working facilities (which I made the most of during my stay).

Amazing stay here. The staff is friendly and the bed is really comfortable. Couldn’t ask for more!

Simply the worst-worst-worst The Social Hub experience (I was a fan of the brand & stayed in multiple locations). I used to pick this chain because both me and my partner work remotely and all previous experiences have been great (good location, enough space to work, nice rooms, nice staff). I'm not sure what happened with this one or what internal problems the business is facing, but: - the coworking area is closed during the weekends (make it make sense, where should all the people working remotely & students who study have space to co-exist?) - Stach, the cafe inside, supposedly closes at 8pm on Sundays but they kick you out at 7:30pm (allegedly they are open until 10 pm during the rest of the week, but they are usually closed by 9pm the latest) - the library area is closed (???) - the rooms have one chair (why let 2 people book a room when you have only one chair to sit - and I'm not even talking about how small the rooms are) On top of this: - I had to ask multiple times for some one to help us clean the room - I had to ask multiple times for someone to refill the shampoo and shower gel bottles (and they were not refilled) - when the cleaning did happen, we came back to a freezing room (15 degrees) because someone let the window wide open and mosquitos (also mosquitos in December in the NL was really unexpected) and other insects joined us in our room - also when cleaning did happen, we tested to see if they will actually change the sheets. We inserted 1 train ticket inside one pillow's sheet and guess what - it was still there when we came back. - the staff is really not interested to help, and we tried approaching them multiple times in different days and at different hours. It's sad that this bad experience wipes away all the good impressions from previous stays. I really do not recommend you book this TSH when in Rotterdam. It simply does not compare to the ones in Porto or even Amsterdam.

The hot water on the sixth floor is barely hot; it's just lukewarm. However, the surrounding services are excellent, and the space is very large. There's a coffee shop on the first floor, so if you get bored upstairs, it's a great place to come down and work while daydreaming.
Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.
For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.
Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.
While storage in coworking spaces is generally limited, and mostly reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices, you should always check with the coworking operator about additional storage solutions. Fill out the form on the right side of the page to reach out to them and learn all about the available options.
Flexibility is the cornerstone of coworking, so you always have the option to adjust your workspace to match your current needs. With month-to-month memberships, you can effortlessly upgrade, downgrade, or even switch between different coworking plans.
While the standard practice is to change memberships only once the current one ends, The Social Hub may be able to offer additional options, so it’s best to reach out to their staff directly.
With a monthly membership, The Social Hub Rotterdam offers 24/7 access to its workspace, allowing you to work at any hour that suits your schedule. Hourly and day passes, however, typically grant access during regular business hours only.
At The Social Hub Rotterdam, those looking for a workspace for an entire day, Day Passs and Meeting Rooms are available. Additionally, Coworking Memberships and Dedicated Desks can be booked on a monthly basis.
