I work at the Volendam Business Center two days a week, and I really enjoy it. It's quiet, clean, and it's a great place to get down to business. The other entrepreneurs make it a pleasant atmosphere, offering a quick chat when needed, but everyone is also serious about their work. For me, it's a nice change from working from home. A different environment, a bit more focus, and surrounded by other entrepreneurs.

I work from home and am often distracted by all sorts of laundry (kids, etc.). So I thought it would be fun to work at VBC for a day. I've been doing this for a year now and I really enjoy it. I like the adjustable desks because I'm not very tall. There's a large screen for my laptop. And I enjoy chatting with other entrepreneurs at the coffee machine. Very nice and quiet workplace. We rented a few desks for a day to be self-employed together - each doing her own work, but with the feeling of colleagues. Without the distractions of the home office, I got a lot of work done. There is a nice atmosphere and everything looks great. We wanted to go outside for lunch (you can also order something, but then you'll be inside all day). One of us had some difficulty walking, so we took the car to Europaplein. But otherwise it's a nice walk. So for next time, because there will definitely be :)
