1000 m2 of co-workspace directly under the iconic dome, 70 private offices, 20 meeting and training rooms and space for large conferences and events.
The former domed prison of Haarlem has undergone a special transition. After the citizens' initiative of Haarlem entrepreneur Jacqueline van de Sande with the aim of giving the Koepel a public function, architect André van Stigt has sublimely given new life to the building from 1901.
However, the transition of the Koepel is not just about bricks. The building will also take on a new meaning from a closed prison to a public tech campus where students, talent, professionals, entrepreneurs and other visitors can enrich themselves with culture, study and work on the future of their company or career.
The Koepel houses the Filmkoepel with 6 cinemas, a bar, restaurant and hotel, game museum Level One, Haarlem Campus with 650 students at bachelor's and master's level, workshop rooms, a media hub with film, photo and podcast studio, office space, digitization labs, office studios and 1,000 m2 of co-work & learnspace.
