If you put 420 feet over the threshold on Herengracht, you will feel like the gentleman, or lady: this building, located in the Gouden Bocht, dates from +/- 1671: a period in which Amsterdam's prosperity was at its peak. Richly decorated with carved wing pieces, frames, curved 'frontons' and 'festoons' was this 'terraced palace' with +/- 1680 the merchant's house of Machteld (Maria) Bontemantel and Abraham Tobias.
After a few wrecking balls and the necessary stucco and paint work, it is now the second home of the 'Dockers' of StartDock Amsterdam: a modern coworking space with a close-knit community of starting entrepreneurs. A high sense of belonging and great involvement among themselves ensure an optimal environment for your business to flourish.
During the joint lunches and organized events, we share our knowledge and experiences and we usher in the weekend with a nice Friday afternoon drink with our colleagues from the location Keizersgracht. Easily accessible by public transport and located within the canal belt, StartDock Herengracht offers the ideal environment to build a golden future for your company. Step in!
Ring the doorbell and our host(ess) will welcome you.
