Absolutely ecstatic that I was able to find a coworking space like ECS153. My hotel was just right around the corner and was looking for somewhere that could accommodate a shorter stay, since I was only in Seoul for a couple of days. The sign up process was extremely streamlined and I was able to get situated in just a couple of minutes. They’ve got light breakfast in the morning (bread, bagels), a ton of drink options to keep your day going (coffee, tea), and afternoon snacks as well. Best of all, the workspace is extremely clean. If you’re looking for a place to work, this is the place to be.

I recently had the pleasure of working at ECS153 Co-Working Space while spending a month in Korea. Even before arriving, I was on the hunt for a space where I could manage my businesses remotely, since most of my clients are based in the U.S. I wanted something open 24 hours, with a simple sign-up process, minimal micromanagement, and a relaxed yet productive vibe and ECS153 delivered exactly that. The atmosphere was everything I hoped for: welcoming, foreigner-friendly, and inspiring. Being surrounded by other freelancers, entrepreneurs, and business owners motivated me to stay focused and productive every day. What truly sets ECS153 apart, though, is the staff. From the owner, Lloyd, to Kelly, the office manager (as I like to call her), and the rest of the team, everyone was amazing. I always felt comfortable asking questions, and they were quick to help with anything I needed. The space was respectful and considerate; even something as simple as adjusting the A/C was done with care and communication. There was structure without rigidity, which I really appreciated. I could have gone to WeWork, but ECS153 offered something that big corporate spaces often lack — genuine community, comfort, and balance. If you’re looking for a laid-back, productive, and welcoming place to work in Seoul, ECS153 is it. 10/10, hands down. I’ll definitely be back when I return to Korea.

Kumkang Tower has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.

Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with ECS153.

The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with ECS153, who is more than happy to help out.
