Hotel Joy is clean, inexpensive, and close to the base. My room was spotless. It was quiet too. It is not fancy, but it doesn’t try to be. It’s a great option if you’re in the area.

My first time in Korea. The Management was extremely polite and the room was very clean. The hotel is just a few blocks from the Humphrey walk in gate. I would stay here again.

I stayed at hotel joy for several weeks. It is a bit hidden in a quiet area not far away from the busy small center near the pedestrian gate if Camp Humphreys. The rooms were spacious and very clean. I had a small kitchen there with large American fridge and also a washing machine which was very convenient. The rooms were nicely cleaned every day and the beds were made. Welcomed additional service was also the free daily replenishment of water, coke and coffee. The hotel is run by a couple of very sweet people, who clearly do this with heart and soul. Thank you for the stay. Gamsamnida & cu next time.

Stayed here multiple times over the years. Can be a bit tricky if driving a large US spec vehicle when non-guest block the narrow alleys. However, the staff is very kind, speak great English, and offer limited free water, Pepsi, and coffee. It's very quiet and the elevator is fast. Daily room service except Sundays, when you can still go down and ask for water and fresh towels if desired.
