On the surface, it has everything you’d expect: a good location and friendly staff. However, two basic things—stable internet and decent coffee—are lacking. The Wi-Fi couldn’t even support a Zoom call I was on, and the coffee is a dull, low-quality brought from another floor. Because of this, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Top nodge friendly staff, fast internet, easy booking of the two phonebooths available. Coffee and tee as much as you like & beer during happy hour.

I used it as a co-working space. It is a branch of Tsutaya Share Lounge, but unlike directly managed spaces, they do not provide coffee, water, or snacks. There is only power outlets. There were also operational issues, such as a terminal malfunction at check-out, which made me wait. I would say it would be a bit difficult to use as a business co-working space. The staff were very nice.

Staff are nice, and the design of the space is alright. Unfortunately the space is no good for working: - It’s cramped, and many of the seats are super uncomfortable (eg bar stools with no knee room let alone leg room) - I do not get the impression that the numbers of users of the space is monitored to avoid checking in more people than can comfortably co-use the space - People have horrible manners, chatting loudly on the phone for hours at a time in the working space. Also throwing their bag on a booth seat and just leaving it there for hours without using the seat (there’s only 3-4 of them in the whole space) - Above-mentioned bad manners go unchallenged by staff, who never seem to even visit the working area - Elevator music (in the working space, not the elevator) - The actual elevator is slow and busy. Seriously if you come for an hour plan to have 5 mins taken up waiting for the elevator. - You have to wash and dry your own glass after use. Aside from the fact that they charge much too premium of a price to have people doing their own washing up, it made me question the cleanliness of the glasses (see point above about bad manners)
The Millennials Shibuya has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.
Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with .andwork.
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with .andwork, who is more than happy to help out.
Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Reach out here to set up a time to come and see the space.
