I signed a lease on an office space that can be used 24 hours a day, but the toilets are extremely dirty. I have complained many times, but nothing has been done to improve the situation. This is clearly a breach of the contract. When I asked about this, I was told that the toilets are cleaned twice a week, which is also abnormal. With so many tenants, the toilets need to be cleaned every day. Using the office space, which involves regular toilet use, is within the scope of the contract. Cosmo Initia is the parent company that operates the space, but I fundamentally question their common sense.

Every day in the shared office near the station is far more comfortable and satisfying than when I was living in a room in a multi-tenant building!

The overall impression was good and clean. It was also nice that they had a limit on the number of people allowed in so it wouldn't get too crowded. The only drawback was that the women's restroom was on a different floor from the coworking space, so you had to use the elevator every time.

The location is one minute (or less?) from the subway exit. It's convenient even on rainy days. The facility is clean and comfortable. The management staff are friendly and easy to talk to, and the environment is well-ventilated. The value for money is also good, so I'm very satisfied.

It's a very homey and comfortable space. Everyone is also very friendly, and if you attend the monthly social gatherings, you'll become friends with everyone and expand your network.
Solacube Yokohama Kannai has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.
Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Mid Point.
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Mid Point, who is more than happy to help out.
Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Schedule a tour here by filling out the form along with the date and time when you would like to visit the space and we’ll see you there.
