Functional airport, security staff not very helpful, it is not possible to empty the bottles before security checks while inside there is the possibility of filling water bottles and bottles... perhaps in 2025 they could equip themselves to avoid throwing away all this plastic and empty the bottles before security checks.

It's a total piece of junk to show up at 7:30 PM to grab a bite before your flight. Everything closes at 8:00 PM.

A nice small airport. I would give it 5 stars but it was reduced due to the VAT refund counter. We've gone through this airport twice before... and the VAT refund counter is empty every time. We had to call 2 different numbers, both of which just keep ringing. The sign at the VAT refund counter says that they won't stamp until 2 hours before the flight, so we waited for that. We then started to call the number and no one picked up. We kept calling for 30 minutes until we felt like we need to start going to our gate. No one picked up the call. We received a call back from the VAT refund counter when we were already in the gate after we went through customs and got our passports stamped to exit Italy. Disappointed. Never buying anything in Sardegna over the VAT refund limit.
