Although it's a magnificent space and hosts very interesting exhibitions, it deserves more maintenance, from the weeds to the paving of the two cloisters, as well as the exhibition spaces. Not to mention the fact that I had to pay full admission despite being a licensed tour guide, when Law 190/2023 clearly states that guides can enter any cultural site, public or private, for free.

I visited this place for a photography exhibition dedicated to Bourke-White. Frescoed vaults, spacious spaces, a sumptuous cloister and columns. There's a small bar inside, so you can enjoy it all in peace.
