On the phone: Me: "Hi, I urgently need a good connection for work. I'd like to pay for the day." Them: "We have free desks, but we're looking to rent them long-term." Me: "Are you thinking of renting them all today? I just need to be able to work for a few hours. The wifi isn't working here, and it's very urgent." Them: "No, look, we can't rent by the day or by the hour. I'm the manager and I'm not here, so I don't know what to do. Bye." ... The state of coworking entrepreneurship in Italy, ca. 2021 - and I've been to a lot of coworking spaces. NOTE how the owner twists the issue in his response. Now it's about health reasons NEVER MENTIONED ON THE PHONE!! 🤣 So why didn't he just ask us to take a rapid swab test instead of making up these excuses? What false and ridiculous behavior. Truly ridiculous, exploiting a pandemic to try to discredit a review. IT'S A SHAME IT CAN BE CHANGED, GENIUS.
