Very unmanaged drop-off, basically when VIP are landing at Indore. Why airport authority have a different platform for them ? Plus when they have fasttag entry they why all exits have fasttag exit. Airport authority is not capable. You should replace them.

Smaller than merto cities airport so easy to go through. If you have digi yartra and no check in baggage, after getting down from taxi it takes 15 to 35 minutes to reach boarding gate. Decent options for eating. One lounge is also available. But Parking people many times misbehave. There is 8 minutes time window to pickup/drop without charge. Even if due to traffic it takes 9th minute they do charge money. Prefer to take UBER rather local taxis of arriving at Indore. There are no good hotels option outside airport. Nearest area with many hotels option is Vijaynagar.

The cab mafia is real, corruption at high level. Cabs ask for extra fare as part of toll while the price is already part of the bill. While leaving the airport, they exit from back gate without paying toll and just paying some "bribe" to guards. One of the weirdest experience of corruption at an airport which one won't expect.
