Worst layover I've ever had. We flew from Amsterdam to Krabi via Mumbai. The check-in process there was a nightmare. There were 500 irate tourists, whose boarding had already begun, standing in front of an employee who meticulously reminded us every five seconds that we all had to line up in single file. The end result: dozens missed their connecting flights. The women's security checks were also very strange.

Long connection layover flights are not allowed in the airport if more than 8 hours. Passengers are stuck and forced to wait outside or make other arrangement. This is horrible customer service for a 24 hour airport that is not open 24 hours to passengers.

One of the most well-managed and thoughtfully designed airports in India ✈️✨ From the moment you step inside, everything feels organised — wide corridors, clean interiors, artistic elements, and clear signage make the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Check-in counters are arranged well, and even during rush hours, the staff handles the crowd efficiently. Security lines can get long at peak times, but the flow is steady and officers maintain good discipline without making it uncomfortable 🙂👍 Once inside, the terminal has a really premium feel. Plenty of seating areas, good lighting, and spacious walkways make long layovers easier to handle 🛋️🌟 The airport’s art installations and modern design add a touch of charm that you don’t usually see in other places. Food options are strong — from quick snacks to proper dining, there’s a good variety for every budget 🍔🍕☕ Shops are well-curated too, offering everything from essentials to souvenirs. Prices are airport-level, but the quality and variety are worth it. Washrooms are generally clean and maintained well, with housekeeping staff active throughout the day 🚻✨ Free Wi-Fi works fine, charging points are available, and staff across the airport is polite and helpful. Parking and pick-up zones are systematic, and baggage delivery is mostly on time, even with a high volume of flights 🚗🎒 A dependable, premium-feel airport that makes travel a lot more comfortable — whether it’s early morning, late night, or a long international route ✨✈️🙂
