Worked here for a few days in Nov 2025. I've used co-working spaces all over the world, and this one was very nice, very clean, and well take care of. WIFI was fast and the price was fair. I didn't use any of the tea/coffee because it was confusing and I wasn't sure what was for the group or for individuals. No printing available.

Lovely Co-working place in Sligo, very open people, and host to the local tech hub and meetups.

My colleagues and I worked here for nearly a year and we all found the experience to be very enjoyable. The staff were extremely responsive and helpful if we had any questions or issues. The other company members on site were also very friendly and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming and inclusive. I would have no hesitation in recommending the space to anyone looking for a shared office in Sligo. Thanks again to everyone involved.

Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.

The Building Block is open during regular business hours listed above. For any other requirements, make sure to contact the operator directly.
-
For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.
On the other hand, private offices are best suited for focused work and private interactions. They're ideal for solo workers as well as teams seeking a dedicated space, shielded from distractions.
Choosing the ideal coworking arrangement for you is about aligning your workspace with your work style, team dynamics, and project requirements.
-
Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with The Building Block.
-
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with The Building Block, who is more than happy to help out.
