I love the size of Cork airport, small enough to be efficient getting through it. Only thing I don't like is how they snake the lines 3 times for security when there are under 10 people. A bit overkill. Else, the duty free is good, there are good and a couple of shop choices on the other side. There is some renovation going on, so one cafe outside the security gate is gone and the WH Smith is now a kiosk. A minor inconvenience.

Slow, borderline rude security with old scannners (liquids still need to be in a bag that they rifle through). Very poor, wildly overpriced food offer with dirty, uncleared tables. No priority pass lounge. A WH Smith staffed by one member of staff that was price gouging even by WH Smith standards. Only public transport is buses that get caught in Cork’s chronic traffic problems. Little to recommend I’m afraid.

Cork airport is fabulous airport. I do have a issue with the wine bar at one o clock on a sat , the girls were more interested on their phone than clearing the tables. Ny husband cleared our table but had to prompt the girls to clear the other tables were full of rubbish . Interesting the boys cleared the tables. when their shift came around. Did not look well to the tourist traveling through cork airport.
