Please be very careful when booking this hotel. Their policies are unreasonable. I booked a 3 night stay for a weekend away, however was taken ill on the first night. I decided that I had to return home and forgo staying the remaining 2 nights. I tried to cancel the remaining nights but was refused. I ended up paying for 3 nights whilst only staying 1. I will be very careful in choosing Mercure for my breaks away again. I also paid for 3 nights breakfast but only managed 1. Again any refund refused. I could understand and accept a cancellation fee, however a complete refusal, I believe is unreasonable.

I visited the hotel for a meeting so no opinion about the rooms. The meeting room was excellent with coffee and tea provided at the lobby

An excellent stay in a lovely hotel. The room and public areas are spotless and it still feels like a brand new hotel. The views from the higher floors are fantastic. It is right in the centre of Newport with a very reasonably priced car park just opposite. All staff were professional and welcoming. A special mention for Lynsey who served us in the hotel bar. She went above and beyond in looking after us. Thank you!
Please reach out to Mercure Newport for more detailed information on membership options and pricing.
Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Mercure Newport.
Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Mercure Newport, who is more than happy to help out.
Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Reach out here to set up a time to come and see the space.
