What a brilliant and genuinely useful service. I hired a garden shredder for a couple of days while clearing a very overgrown garden, and it was absolutely fantastic. It happily chomped through a huge amount of branches and cuttings and saved me an enormous amount of work. More than anything, though, I just love the whole idea of the Eco Hub. There are so many tools you occasionally need for a particular job but really don't need to own. Being able to borrow something like this for just a few pounds, use it for the job and then give it back makes so much more sense than buying another tool that will spend the next five years taking up space in the shed. The people there are friendly and helpful, the prices are incredibly reasonable, and the whole thing is just really bloody handy. I'll definitely be back next time I need something. Great experience hiring an e-bike. Both Scout & Kath were super helpful. Had a lovely time exploring the Ystwyth Trail and trying out turbo mode!
We hired two eBikes from the Eco Hub. Very simple to organise. Cath was really helpful when we got there to collect at 10am showing us a couple of eBikes to choose from based upon our heights and taking us through how they worked as our first time using eBikes. Both bikes were in very good condition with Helmets and a Lock provided also. Great value service and would recommend to anyone in the area as lots of great cycling routes (Rheidol and Ystwyth in particular) around Aberystwyth to see the beautiful countryside of Wales.

Hands down the best bike hire spot in Aberystwyth. Cath was amazing-super friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. She quickly understood what we were looking for and set us up with the perfect bikes. She recommended great routes, loaded everything straight into our phones with maps, and even gave us a paper map as backup. Locks were included and all instructions were clear. Everything felt smooth, organised, and trustworthy. Come here if you need a bike and want an easy way to explore the area-you really feel the nature so much better when you're cycling. Opening hours are 10am-4pm, Wednesday to Saturday. Highly recommended.
