Ore Valley Community Initiatives (formally known as Fife HARCA) has developed a state-of-the-art business centre in Lochgelly, aimed at providing start-up businesses in Fife with the ideal home from which to grow. The building itself utilises cutting-edge design and is highly energy efficient, maximising solar gain and innovative environmental management technology to keep the building's energy requirements to a minimum but also maintaining high comfort levels for users throughout the year. The centre utilises the Termodeck heat recovery system to recycle heat generated by the building's users to help reduce heating costs and is the only installation of its kind in Scotland.

Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.
For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.
Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.

Most spaces offer month-to-month memberships, enabling you to adjust your workspace to your changing needs. Whether your business is growing or downsizing – or you just want to upgrade to a more private setting – you always have the flexibility to make the changes you need.
While your membership agreement may have specific terms regarding changes, don’t hesitate to reach out to Ore Valley Business Centre to discuss accommodating your adjustments.

Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Ore Valley Business Centre.
