I attended a networking event at The Light Room, Linlithgow on 27th May 2026 which was fabulous! As an inexperienced ‘networker’, the session was set up in such a way that it felt very relaxed and natural. All participants were given the opportunity to share their thoughts, challenges and points of view which I found extremely beneficial. I already have the next scheduled networking event (Thurs 18th June) in my diary!
I’m just back from a co-working day at The Light Room and it is an absolute gem. Not only is the space gorgeous and calm, but the amazing hosts, Rebecca and David, have thought of everything a freelancer might need (but have left at home!). The working space is really comfortable and the natural light is great. I will definitely be back soon. One lovely wee touch is the ‘hidden in plain sight’ Lego figures, I didn’t notice one all morning but, once I spotted the first, I realised they were dotted around the room. The attention to detail is second to none. I highly recommend The Light Room (and not just for coworking, I’m hoping to use the space for a group I’m planning to run).
