It's ace, offers everything I need and more to run my business. The team are welcoming and great, really makes the heart of the venue come alive. They are engaging and provide a real sense of community, a welcome change from a soulless office on a business park or a run down office on a high street in Leith. I cannot recommend Clockwise enough. Easy to get to for my clients and contractors too.
However ... being moved office location regularly was a downside to having a 'dedicated desk'. I felt perturbed at being moved to the loft space (inside a cage) so decided to leave. It was in the contract that they could give 30 days notice at anytime and required a new contract to be signed, which I did not sign.
A refund of rent over-paid plus the months rent deposit hasn't yet been returned. No replies to my emails, leaves me wondering if I am an afterthought and need to 'wait 30 days' for the return of the deposit. Surely if everything is okay, you would return the deposit and overpayment of rent immediately? If not, then a reply to emails should at least be forthcoming.
For this reason, I have amended my review to 2 out of 5. Great communication is what great businesses are built on, and without that, things start to come apart. As a small business I rely on my cashflow and with Clockwise holding onto this without reason is not great.
