Great community cafe in a restored ironmongers in Huntly. Staff were so friendly, and even showed me the cinema (yes cinema) space – which is amazing. There are co-working spaces upstairs along with a banking hub. They were proud to show us the 'swiftcam' showing live footage of a swift's nest on the outer wall. We had soup and a cheese roll, followed by a coffee and cake. All delicious and most probably homemade.
A great friendly community space. Food is nice and staff are friendly. It is always busy and has a good vibe. I was asked to leave today as I was working and I had been there long enough apparently. (3 hours) I was offered the co-working space upstairs and then told I could not use it as there was a meeting. Which was fine as I was not actually working, but filling in time while I awaited my car in the local garage. It was not nice being told to leave a community space while I was still finishing my drink, after purchasing breakfast, cakes drinks and made plans for lunch. I will return as I live here. I know now not to rely on it being a safe community space to be while waiting for garages etc.
Lovely cafe ,tasty Tuna sandwich, fruit scone was so light and delicious and lovely latte 😋 definitely recommend x
