I would like to raise my concern about the staff member who attended to me during my Life in the UK test today (17th Nov 2025) at the PSI Adelphi Centre in Glasgow, who is doing the candidate ID check and security check.Her behaviour towards me and other candidates was unprofessional and unnecessarily harsh. She spoke in a rude and intimidating manner, which significantly increased my stress level during an already important and pressured moment. Her conduct showed a lack of respect and empathy for candidates, and it created an uncomfortable and discouraging environment. I felt “singled” out and treated unfairly. I believe all candidates deserve to be treated with dignity and courtesy, and this experience fell far below that standard. I request that this matter be looked into so that future candidates are treated appropriately and respectfully.

Our recent visit to the Adelphi Conference Centre for the Life in the UK test was profoundly distressing. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt tense and unwelcoming. The staff member conducting the initial checks behaved in a manner that felt discriminatory and judgmental, particularly toward my sister. His tone and attitude were not only unprofessional but deeply insensitive. During the test, another staff member startled my sister while checking the headset equipment they themselves had provided. This unnecessary intrusion caused her significant distress and disrupted her concentration. She was visibly shaken and in tears, feeling humiliated and targeted throughout the experience. We expected a respectful and supportive environment for such an important milestone. Instead, we were met with what felt like racial bias and a lack of basic courtesy. No one should have to endure such treatment, especially in a setting meant to uphold fairness and dignity. I sincerely hope the centre takes steps to address staff conduct and ensure future candidates are treated with the respect they deserve.

My wife had a Life in UK exam at 12:00 today. We went there at 11:30 so that if there was a problem, we would have time to solve it. But because we had gotten the wrong code, there were still 20 minutes left before the exam started. A woman was there and canceled the exam. I got a new code right away, but she wouldn't accept it. This woman didn't treat us or the rest of the people well at all. Please follow up.

The most discourteous individuals one might encounter in Glasgow are the two staff members present, particularly the man who is not in a supervisory position and the lady. This message is intended for visitors from outside Glasgow; please be aware that these manners do not represent the general behaviour of people in Glasgow.
