Join a highly productive working space in Scotland’s second city with 100 West George Street. In this refurbished tenement, you’re in the midst of the vibrant heart of the city, a few minutes from George Square and the Merchant City shopping district. The building brings all the well-thought-out practicalities of these uniquely Glaswegian buildings to your office space, with the high ceilings, fantastic natural light and cool ventilation. The inside of the building is decorated to the highest standards, with modern glass door and window fittings, adding an element of prestige to all business proceedings. Choose from offices, meeting rooms and customisable co-working spaces, all with great payment plans and flexible use. Travelling to and from this convenient business hub is simple thanks to the close proximity to both Queen Street Railway Station and Glasgow Central. The links to the subway and bus routes are also fantastic; with Albion Street bus station and St. Enoch SPT subway station just a quick walk away. You can infuse your workday with creative energy with a trip to the nearby Gallery of Modern Art, or remind yourself of the importance of discipline in your work with a trip to the Glasgow Police Museum. And throughout the day, if you’re hungry or just need some fresh air, you’ll find Glasgow filled with eateries and green spaces for you to unwind in.

Update: Spaces have kindly resolved without further issue, so revised the rating and thank you. Original review * Star: Very disappointing renewal practices – Please read the small print In my experience with Spaces, their renewal process has been very unfair and non-transparent. Spaces operates with extremely poor transparency around contract renewals. We received no reminder, no notice, and no communication about our renewal or the automatic price increase. The contract was renewed nearly three months before expiry without any notification. Even their own staff (who onboarded us 10 months ago) were unsure about the renewal process and failed to respond after promising to look into it. When challenged, we were simply pointed to terms and conditions that, in my view, are drafted to heavily disadvantage customers. We are now in a legal dispute with Spaces because of these practices. Based on our experience, we would strongly advise anyone considering using Spaces to read the terms and conditions as well as renewal clauses very carefully and be extremely cautious before signing (their 1 page contract wouldn't have anything other than signing for the period you are committing). If possible please avoid them.

They will not let you leave the contract - well, not without enough fees to make you regret ever signing up - we have just been charged £500+ in cleaning fees

At Spaces - West George Street, Private Offices and Dedicated Desks can be booked on a monthly basis.
-
Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.
-
For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.
On the other hand, private offices are best suited for focused work and private interactions. They're ideal for solo workers as well as teams seeking a dedicated space, shielded from distractions.
Choosing the ideal coworking arrangement for you is about aligning your workspace with your work style, team dynamics, and project requirements.
-
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Spaces, who is more than happy to help out.
-
Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Spaces.
