Such a great little airport. So easy to get through security and into the departure lounge. From the car park to departure gate, in less than 10 minutes. Great! Wish all airports were like this. Just wish there were more destinations to fly to!

Small, really easy to navigate, super helpful and friendly staff, please support this airport to keep it open, the perfect gateway to the north of Ireland.

This isn’t like a typical that requires you to take long lines and navigate through what seems like a maze. Booking online makes the experience so much more feasible. There is a cafe to buy food and pastries to enjoy. Small shop for accessories (such as earphones, chargers and power banks) and drinks before taking the plane. The best being the simple flight from Derry Airport-London Heathrow which allows a direct flight without stopping anywhere else.

An airport basically designed for people who have cars and live locally to get cheap tax payer funded flights. The airport has extremely poor transport links and collapsing passenger numbers, there's barely anything inside the actual building itself. If the airport had to compete like everyone else it would go bankrupt within a year.
