An appalling experience – you are an account number, not a customer. I have held off writing this for nearly 18 months but I got another demand for payment today…. My experience with Regus River House, Coleraine has been exceptionally poor. We vacated in February 2025, yet more than a year later I am still dealing with disputed charges and what has effectively been a non-existent complaints process. Regus was remarkably efficient when it wanted its office back, asking for the keys before our contractual end date. That efficiency disappeared when we needed Regus to address problems with its own administration. Most remarkably, eight months after we vacated, Regus charged a deposit relating to an office we had already left. I have also challenged a restoration charge calculated at £35 per m² when our agreement states £24 per m². Perhaps the most revealing experience was a Teams meeting with Regional Manager Santino Colaluca. It began with the polished sales-style smiles, pleasantries and friendly introductions you might expect. However, once it became apparent that I was not simply going to accept the explanation being presented to me, the atmosphere changed noticeably. I found his demeanour became increasingly dismissive, confrontational and visibly irritated. His tone and facial expressions changed to the point where I was left feeling that I had somehow become the problem simply because I was challenging Regus and asking legitimate questions. Rather than feeling like a paying customer whose concerns deserved investigation, I felt more like an employee being reprimanded for refusing to do what I was told. The contrast between the initial sales persona and what followed when I would not simply accept Regus’s position was striking. The wider experience feels heavily automated. Despite two formal complaints and repeatedly making clear that charges are disputed, overdue demands and attempts to charge the card associated with the account have continued. Getting a human being to actually take ownership has proved considerably harder. Even when the dispute reached Regus’s legal team, I responded substantively to the issues they raised and received no substantive response, while the automated demands continued. I would also encourage prospective customers to scrutinise online reviews rather than simply relying on the headline rating. A Google account named “TJ O’Reilly” has given five-star reviews to multiple Northern Ireland Regus locations, including River House, Coleraine and Regus Newry, specifically praising centre management. Separately, public search results identify Tiernan O’Reilly as an IWG Area Manager in Northern Ireland. I cannot establish that these are the same person and do not claim that they are, but I found the similarity noteworthy. There are also discussions online, including on Reddit, containing allegations from people claiming experience of Regus/IWG concerning internal pressure around positive reviews. Those are allegations, not established facts, but they are another reason I would read reviews critically. The contrast throughout my experience has been striking: when Regus wants something from the customer, things happen remarkably quickly. When the customer needs Regus to correct something, investigate a complaint or take ownership of a problem, the experience can be very different. My advice to anyone considering Regus is simple: read everything before signing and retain everything afterwards. Pay particular attention to termination provisions, restoration charges, deposits and payment-card authorities, and continue monitoring your account and payment methods after leaving. More than a year after vacating, I should not still be spending my time challenging disputed charges and trying to obtain meaningful engagement with formal complaints. I would not use Regus again and, based on my experience, could not recommend them to another business.

Regus in Coleraine is such a handy spot for me to meet clients traveling from the east, south, and west! The city centre location is perfect, easy to get to and close to all the main transport links. The space itself is modern, well-kept, and has everything you need for a productive meeting. But the real highlight is Sarah, the Centre Manager, she’s absolutely fantastic! Super friendly, professional and nothing is ever too much, thank you!

Terrific location - along the river. Very local to the main city centre. I only had a meeting room booked for the day as I had to meet some clients and wanted somewhere modern and stylish to impress them. The centre manager went over and above for my guests. They were impressed. I will be back!
