Horrendous airport with power hungry security staff. Was racially targeted through security with them checking every item and no one else’s. This island needs tourism desperately but with airports like this no one will ever come to such a place.

Arriving into Ronaldsway was a breeze, no check or security just stroll through, not so when you try to leave, they have the world's most over zealous security staff, plastic bags have to be the exact size although it doesn't seem to matter if they are left open. Personal checks appear to be more like being groped than searched. They are not even pleasant especially the female ones.

It was super busy no seats. They do not advertise what size clear plastic bag you need your liquids to be in but an attendant bellowed across the queue my bag was too big and I would have to Rebag them. The bag wouldn't close but she said it was ok🤔. I was then subjected to an incredibly thorough search.. I know it is for our safety but it felt incredibly over the top and personal.
