And the beaches at Longsands and Whitley Bay are a short hop, skip and jump away. Of course, you can always be 'canny' and enjoy the famous Geordie hospitality without leaving the hotel.

Nice hotel with bar and grill, nice indoor pool and extensive gym facilities. Very good breakfast choices too!

My first time staying with this hotel chain. Easy to locate with plenty of onsite parking included in your stay. Great hotel with fabulous facilities. The rooms were a good size with comfy beds. The bath was a little slippy trying to get into the shower, I still have the black knee to prove it. The evening meal ordered at the bar was very filling and hit the spot after a busy day. It took some time to get to sleep due to the partying out the front of the hotel, directly under my 2nd floor room. Shutting the window quietened it a little, but unfortunately I was then awoken by how hot the room was. I opened the window in the very Early hours to the continuing noise of other guests still outside. Not something anyone could do much about, apparently there had been a bare knuckle fighting event on near by. Breakfast was superb, you do need to ask for fried eggs, but everything else was available to help yourself. The hash browns were absolutely spot on. I would stay with this chain again. There's a gym and a pool if you have time to enjoy those facilities.

Absolutely amazing hotel! I was greeted when entering the hotel by reception who checked me in on a very up to date check in service, I was shown to my room and upon entering the room was immaculate and well presented, there was a choice of very nice coffee or tea in my room, I went to use the spa facilities which is very easy to get to I was greeted by spa staff who gave me a towel and a lock for a locker, changing rooms Absolutely immaculate with all needed facilities, the swimming pool is huge with 2 hot tubs, steam room and sauna, the spa was not busy and had no issues getting into hot tubs etc, the hotel has endless gym facilities with weights rooms, cardio room and various classes, after getting changed I decided to go down to the restaurant for something to eat, food was amazing and moderately priced (photo), when getting into bed the beds are so comfortable i had a great night's sleep with zero noise, when waking in the morning went to use the spa facilities again then to breakfast, this is one of the best breakfast I have had in a hotel with food cooked to perfection (photo) all in all a great hotel that I would highly recommend.
