Can't get in touch. Automated phone response from the Google 'call' link, answered questions, told I'd be put through then the phone rings twice and cuts out.

We never actually stayed there but I think I need to explain the kind of customer service they give. Me and my husband arrived home from holiday about 12am. Unfortunately our door key broke and we could not get in. We were unable to get a spare key until the next day. This hotel is literally a 10 min drive from our house. I couldn't book a room online as I assume it was past end of day and I could no longer select the date. So we grabbed an Uber to the hotel. A gentleman greeted us but as soon as we mentioned no reservation. He completely changed his attitude. It was now after 1am and I was extremely tired, I am 54 with hip issues. My husband explained our dilemma and he was not interested. He huffed and puffed and said there was nothing and dismissed us. My husband asked if we could sit for ten mins just to look at the other hotels. He was extremely blustered and said no he was cleaning up and basically wanted us out. I was feeling very upset at this point. He did say there was a travel lodge nearby but never offered to help us contact them or even suggest helping us ring them. It was utterly disgusting and I am shocked by his lack of empathy. I do hope you're other staff have more empathetic. It was after 2am when luckily we found the travel lodge and got sorted and they were utterly amazing.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Coworking spaces typically have limited storage options, most of which are reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices. With that said, it’s best to contact the coworking operator directly via the form on the right side of the page to learn about available storage options.

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.

  • At Village Hotels - VWorks - Newcastle, those looking for a workspace for an entire day, Day Passs are available.

  • Flexibility is the cornerstone of coworking, so you always have the option to adjust your workspace to match your current needs. With month-to-month memberships, you can effortlessly upgrade, downgrade, or even switch between different coworking plans.

While the standard practice is to change memberships only once the current one ends, Village Hotels may be able to offer additional options, so it’s best to reach out to their staff directly.

  • Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Village Hotels.
