Been a flexible co-working customer of The Hive in Flimwell for almost two years now. A lovely place to come and work with comfortable surroundings, fantastic woodland views and walks for getting away from the computer and getting some fresh air. Fast reliable wifi, great A/C and heating. A well-thought-out execution of the rural co-working / work near home concept.

Very disappointing experience. I hired an office here for several months which was fine but having finished in February (it is now the end of May) I have still not had my deposit returned and have had zero contact from the owner despite regular emails to chase. Look elsewhere if you want to be treated with respect and want a professional experience. Update October 23 Following response from Owner It is important to say, that my deposit was returned in September and the matter is resolved. However, Google Reviews are about sharing experience. My experience with the Hive was as described above regardless of the issues experienced in the business. During the period of trying to recover the deposit, communication was very poor. When it did happen, I was palmed off with multiple excuses including: Book keeper fell off her horse; family illness; personal illness and chronic personal illness; along with promises of payment to be made that week, that day etc. none of which materialised. Only when I took legal action was the deposit returned. During the period of March to Sept there was not one mention of cash flow or other business challenges which I would have understood. I would like the owners to understand that the frustration and disappointment that they describe during their fraud experience was no different to the frustration and disappointment that I had trying to recover my money from them. Trust is so important with any relationship and I have none with the Hive as a result of my experience and would not return.

It is a really exciting location with fantastic environmental and sustainability credentials. The Hive offices are perfect for our needs and fitted out to the highest possible standards.
