A great space to focus! Everyone is really friendly and the free tea, coffee and kitchen space mean I always have a productive day

Was in Birmingham for the day and needed somewhere to work for a few hours. Found the Old Post Office co-working space. It's small, but it's clean, friendly and a great little place to work. Plus they do half day rates where others don't. Recommended if you need somewhere decent to work.

I stayed in Birmingham recently while my partner was having surgery at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, and having no idea on timings of how long he would be in hospital for made it very difficult to plan around in terms of hotels and how I would manage to work in between, as we'd travelled from Manchester. I Googled for co-working spaces nearby and thankfully found this absolute gem which was only a few minutes away from the hospital. I was welcomed by Pendra who was absolutely lovely, showed me the amenities and even moved a huge monitor across for me to use as a second screen. I wasn't there for long as I went back to the hospital mid-afternoon, but I would 100% recommend to anyone and will definitely return in a few months when my partner is back in for another operation!

I've been working from home since 2009. I booked in here for two days to escape noisy building work and was very pleasantly surprised. Warm. Clean. Welcoming. Quiet. Great daily rate. I also realised how nice it is to return to an office environment and say hello to people. Kerry was lovely and helpful. Thanks for the bourbons and company! Adding: thanks for the ergonomic chair, it made all the difference!

Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with The Old Post Office.
The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with The Old Post Office, who is more than happy to help out.
Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Reach out here to set up a time to come and see the space.
