James Traat and Josh Willetts at the Stafford store could not have been more understanding and helpful when faced with a van load of orchestral percussion instruments and nowhere to store them, following an extremely difficult weekend for the orchestra. It was a Sunday and they could easily have kept their office door shut and ignored the request for assistance, but they went above and beyond anything that could have been anticipated. James toured the units to source a suitable one, with doors sufficiently wide to allow the timpani to glide through, sufficient capacity for other bulky items and easy access from the van to the external shutters. He assisted with a padlock and made all the ID checks and documentation required as smooth as possible, whilst back in the office, Josh continued to field his own calls and those of James. James demonstrated a clear understanding of all of the issues posed by our situation and demonstrated creativity and knowledge whilst finding a solution for us. When asked about to whom we should address an email of thanks, he said that none was required and that they had both just been happy to help to resolve everything for us. As a result of their attitude and support I was able to return the hire van on time and safe in the knowledge that the instruments were secure. Two days later I revisited the store to seek advice about the best padlock to purchase and accessing the App. I was greeted by Liam McGowan on reception, who once again, offered excellent advice and took the time to explain about access codes and timings. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this store and these employees most highly.
